I hope everyone is ok and coping well?
This week I have a pretty special book for you all! Because this author is one of the best that I have discovered, her books never fail to make me laugh and this one was no exception to the past trend. One of the amazing things that always draw me to Olivia Beirne’s’ books, are how relatable her characters are to the readers, who love to read Olivia’s work.
A story of love, hope and coincidences.
Bea is extremely relatable for many people throughout the course of the story and the paths that she takes. She faces problems at work, due to not getting the news stories that she would like to work on.
She stays in and lives her whole life to a schedule, apart from when a letter gets delivered for her that turns her whole life upside down.
The development of Bea throughout this book as she finds a cause close to her heart is extremely empowering to read about, she is no longer unconfident and afraid of what might happen if she doesn’t follow the pattern of her regular schedule.
”Bea used to feel confident, outgoing and fun, but she’s not sure where that person went. Over the last few months, she’s found herself becoming reclusive and withdrawn. And despite living with her two best friends, she’s never felt lonelier. To make things worse, she’s become so dependent on her daily routine, she’s started to slip out of everyone else’s.But when a mysterious battered envelope covered in stars lands on her doormat, Bea wonders if she could find the courage to open it. What’s written inside might change everything…“An Accidental Love Letter Blurb- Olivia Beirne
This book made me laugh out loud, it was funny and light hearted plus to see Bea find herself again, after such a long time was really heart warming. Her care and compassion for others really shines through.
All of Olivia’s Characters personalities really came through in the writing of this book, with all of their different traits and in particular how each one in their own way looked after Bea.
